Protesters errected burning barricades in order to prevent the army from entering the village. Demonstration in solidarity with the people of Gaza, Ni'lin, December 28th, 2008. During the protest 19-year-old Mohamad Khawaja was shot in the head with live ammunition. He was taken to hospital and declared braindead, he died on December 31st.
