Bedouins protesting against the Prawer Plan in Beer Sheva, on the March 21, 2012. The Prawer Plan, approved by the Israeli government on the 11th of September, 2011, envisions the resettlement of more than 30,000 Bedouin citizens through the destruction of most unrecognized Bedouin villages in the Negev desert. The plan, which incidentally does not apply to Jewish communities in the same area, is seen by some as the "final solution" for decades of forced displacement and harassment of the Negev Bedouins.
