A burnt car in the West Bank village of Khirbet al-Marajim, south of Duma, after about 50 Israeli settlers stormed the village the night before, March 15, 2025. The settlers threw stones at residents and set fire to three homes and a car while families were sleeping inside. In one of the rooms, two children were asleep when settlers abducted them and later released them in a different location. Duma has repeatedly been targeted by violent settler attacks. On July 31, 2015, Israeli settlers firebombed a Palestinian family home in the village, killing three people. 18-month-old Ali Dawabsheh was burned alive, while both his parents succumbed to their injuries within weeks.
